DESIGN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT
Design capacity development initiative encourages KZN-based enterprises to improve their competitiveness and strategic advantage by integrating design into their business strategy, processes and product development. The initiative is aimed at helping manufacturers learn about the value design adds to their businesses, to integrate of design into business strategies and to use design to create sustainable value.

ENTERPRISE AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT
The purpose of the industry development programme is to improve SMME’s overall capabilities, promote the networking of companies and to develop new solutions for efficient production. The program objective is to Develop a strong industry that is design driven, facilitate networking, Enhance expertise through cooperation between the trade agencies, Technology, Innovation agencies and other stakeholders.

SUPPORT SERVICES
KZN services offerings, is a platform to support conditions for a profitable and competitive furniture industry. The aim of the programme is to re-activate furniture manufacturing and to develop new factors that will exploit new opportunities.
